Mary Jean "Lily" Tomlin is an actress, comedian, writer, and producer. Tomlin has been a major force in American comedy since the late 1960s when she began a career as a stand up comedian and became a featured performer on television's Laugh-in . Her career has spanned television, comedy recordings, Broadway, and motion pictures, enjoying acclaimed success in each medium. She has starred in such films as Nashville , Nine to Five , All of Me , The Beverly Hillbillies , Orange County , and I Heart Huckabees . Her notable television roles inclue Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In as a cast member, Ms. Frizzle on The Magic School Bus , Kay Carter-Shepley on Murphy Brown , and Deborah Fiderer on The West Wing . She currently stars as Lillie Mae on the ABC sitcom Malibu Country . He is best known for his use of cutting and sarcastic one liners. He first became famous in the 1990s as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and from 1997 until 2003 when he starred as Dennis Finch on Just Shoot Me! Gary Busey is a film and stage actor and artist.  He has appeared in a variety of films most notably in the 1980s and 1990s in major action releases Lethal Weapon , Point Break and Under Siege .  Busey was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor in 1978 for his role in The Buddy Holly Story . Here is an autographed picture from when I met the beautiful actress and singer Bobbie Eakes.  Bobbie Eakes is known for her role as Macy Alexander on The Bold and the Beautiful and for her role as Krystal Carey on All My Children .  Eakes received bit roles on nighttime television series, such as Cheers , before becoming successful in the soap opera genre. In the mid-1980s, she was the lead singer of the dance-pop group Big Trouble. The group released one self-titled CD in 1987.   Their single "Crazy World" charted on the U.S. singles chart, reaching #71.  She was also featured on country music singer Collin Raye's 2000 single "Tired of Loving This Way", which peaked at #50 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. Posting another picture from my collection, this one an autographed photo with clothing designer Tommy Hilfiger and I. At the age of 18 rather than furthering his education, he started to work in retail.  Hilfiger would go to New York City to buy jeans and bell-bottom pants, which he customized and resold at Brown's, a local downtown Elmira store. He later opened his own store, named The People's Place, around the block in downtown Elmira. Over the years, a number of stores closed in downtown Elmira as shopping traffic shifted to the new Arnot Mall in Horseheads, New York.   After seven years, The People's Place went bankrupt, when Hilfiger was 25.   After turning to the design of clothing by designing for the rest of his stores in upstate New York, Hilfiger moved to New York City with his wife Susie. Although he was offered design assistant positions with designers Calvin Klein and Perry Ellis, he turned down the offers despite the fact he was broke. ...

Sharing another celebrity photo from my collection.  This is Barry Bonds and I.   Barry Lamar Bonds is a former American Major League Baseball outfielder. Bonds played from 1986 to 2007, for the Pittsburgh Pirates and San Francisco Giants.   He is the son of former major league All-Star Bobby Bonds.   He debuted in the Major Leagues with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1986 and joined the San Francisco Giants in 1993, where he stayed through 2007. Bonds' accomplishments during his baseball career place him among the greatest baseball players of all-time.    Bonds has led a controversial career, notably as a central figure in baseball's steroids scandal. In 2007, he was indicted on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice for allegedly lying to the grand jury during the government's investigation of BALCO , by testifying that he never knowingly took any illegal steroids.  Do you have any photos with baseball players that are favorites in y...

Here is another photograph from my collection to share with you!  This picture features Raymond Allen "Ray" Liotta.  Born December 18, 1954 Ray Liotta is an actor, best known his portrayal of Henry Hill in the crime-drama Goodfellas , directed by Martin Scorsese and his role as Shoeless Joe Jackson in Field of Dreams .   He has won an Emmy Award and has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award.  He is also known for starring as the protagonist, Tommy Vercetti in the video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City .

It is that day of the week again, where I share an autographed picture with you from my large collection!  Since we are in the middle of the presidential debates, I thought this picture would be fitting.  Here I am with George H. W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States. Here is a couple facts about President Bush - George Herbert Walker Bush previously served as the 43rd Vice President of the United States before becoming the president in 1989.  Following the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, Bush postponed going to college, enlisted in the US Navy on his 18th birthday, and became the youngest aviator in the Navy at the time.  He served until the end of the war, then attended Yale University.   Graduating in 1948, he moved his family to west Texas and entered the oil business, becoming a millionaire by the age of 40!  Do you have any photos with a President?  I would love to see!  Please feel free to share your photos...

Sussing out forgeries demands a lot of skill - sometimes.  Other times, it's quite obvious that an autograph is bogus or highly suspect.  Recent history offers three striking examples. In 2007, Sotheby's Auction offered for sale the "only known autograph" of George Dixon, a 19th Century Bantam and Featherweight World Boxing Champion.  The autograph, in pencil, was on a small slip of paper it hadn't been witnessed, dated or notarized.  An authenticator had signed off on it, though it obviously was impossible to verify.  After all, there were no other known autographs of the boxer.  What could the authenticator have compared it to? In 2006, a well-known authentication company verified that an album page had been signed on the reverse side by "April Chadwick."  A skeptic asked, "Has anyone ever heard of a person or celebrity named April Chadwick?" Nope.  Turned out the authenticator apparently hadn't compared the signature to any other.  H...
